if your Shocker or Nerve upper board is damaged or malfunctioning I have some handy info and tips for you.

Warning
The relation of the solenoids with the upper board is simple in this regard. The upper board is NOT removable from the Parker solenoid. The two coil terminals stick up out of the coil housing, and are soldered directly to the board. The board therefore cannot be removed unless it is de soldered from the solenoid terminals. I personally do not recommend doing this for any reason, unless you are absolutely forced to do so. I recommend this soldering task only for advanced technicians, since de soldering the solenoid is a very delicate operation and the coil terminals are extremely fragile.

i have removed the upper board and replaced it with a new board £15 instead of £80 for board and solenoid

follow the instructions from www.zdspb.com and here are my picks to help you

Ha ha, I wrecked my solenoid last time I tried to de-solder the board  (solder wouldn't melt and ended up accidentally breaking the pins off the solenoid)
So more importantly you need to be gentle, have a soldering iron that works, and be patient.

Yes and you need 1 of them solder sucker things, if you try to just warm the solder and pull off the board the pins will always brake.

you need a double headed soldering ion and someone to gently pull the board and solenoid apart
