Custom paint jobs like that cost hundreds of pounds to do properly. As there are special techniques that need to be used to stop the pattern wearing off really quickly. If you want something different get a custom anno maybe with a fade and then laser etch something into it if you want, it will be much harder wearing and look better after you have played a few times and had to strip your gun. with paint all of this chips, cracks etc very easily assuming you actually plan on using it rather than just keeping it in a case or something

There's a completely different process to cars with paintball markers mate. The marker has to have all the paint stripped off and specially bead blasted and coated. Don't know about colouring cars, but I'm pretty sure my brother didn't have his car dipped in acid!

Generally, painting a marker even with car spray paints just wont work very well. When you paint metal the colouring just sits on top of the surface, it is VERY susceptible to chips, cracks and scratches. Think how easy cars generally mark or chip and you wouldn't dream of putting your cars body through the sort of perils a marker goes through. Also the layers of paint can adversely effect the thickness of the surface and make disassembly a pain in the arse.

Markers are coloured through a process called anodising where high currents of electricity, acid and dyes are used to bond the colour to the metal. When done well on decent materials, anodising can be extremely tough. Slothball.com do a anodising service and their work is proper and for a fairly acceptable price.
