just wondering what the rules and regs etc are regards shipping markers in the from the states, has anyone tried?/had problems before??

From what I heard, its really really hard.

Not only to get it through customs in america, but to get it through over here is aparantly a nightmare.

Dont quote me though.

dont quote me on this but dont think the marker it self make any difference its the bloody tax man you have to deal with.. u get whacked big time if and i say if they open it you get charged for them opening it!!! so the deal you get in america wont be so sweet by the time it lands here cos off taxes.

it may get throu untouched thou but its a risk!

You see such sweet deals on the nation, thinking you have a steal.

Then it gets ruined:( .

Best thing to do is find a friend in America and get them to bring it back with you.

yeah, i got my NME shipped from America.
It cost me an extra £50 on TAX.
Lucky for me they didnt open it otherwise it would have cost me more!!

didnt get hit by tax on my alien but its all luck if its something you can get local buy local

if its special ship it but budget for the tax

I got my gat sent from canada, with shipping and VAT it was still cheaper than it was to buy it in the UK,

although the bar steward sent it by surface mail so it took over a month and a half to get sent (even though he told me it was being sent my air mail)
