shipping costs to america

right it looks like my eclipse cocker has sold in america. Ive never shipped to the us before can someone explain the procedure ie paperwork for customs and all that stuff and also here is the best place to ship from. Ive looked on parcel2go and it looks like it going to cost about £40 so there any cheaper than this.

Royal mail do international signed for, cost dependant on weight and level of insurance cover, they will show you how to fill out customs decleration form aswell.
Used this service to send a few items including a marker.

it weighs about 2.3 kg am at the post office today will ask
