Shaft Barrel

Hi,
I am going to get a shaft front to go with the shaft back I purchased the other day....
No can somebody who owns a 12" or 14" one tell me when put together, if the 12" or 14" refers to the size of the complete barrel ie. Inclusive of the thread or the measurement is from end of the thread to the tip ??

Dont own a shaft, but nearly all the barrel companies refer to the length as the entire length, not just the tip or back.

So, the length is the barrel from start to finish.

agreed but its from the end of the threads ie where the barrel joins the body is where you measure from
