Severe Thanks

Well thats another Severe cup over with. The weather was crap, Elsham's still a swamp, Marshalling was taken care of by complete amateurs & we played like complete punters all day.
I've never enjoyed playing a tourney as much as I did this one. Everyone had a right good laugh, no-one got snotty with anyone,all day !!!!! The weather wasn't even a minor setback, cos we were too busy chuckling to ourselves to even notice I think that this has got to have been the friendliest & most welcoming event of the year. You don't play many where you actually feel appreciated (even to the point of giving out a prize to every team, just for turning up. FANTASTIC.
To all the teams that backed out for whatever reason, you really missed out on something today.
I, for one, will definately be back next year.
Must say a great big thanks to both Steve & John for running such a good event (& for not flapping under the pressure of having to do all the cooking )

Superb day all round, enjoyed it from start to finish. Great atmosphere too.

And John and Bully, thanks, really........ it was great, it's rounded of my paintballing year and helped us make some serious team decisions.



Oh and 18 teams.......18 prizes

Gotta be a good thing........... we came 15th and got admission to simply the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think we have had most types of bad weather at elsham this year correct me if im wrong but i count rain, wind, sleet, and now fog lol.

maybe a tornado or two for next year john
