recently i joined a novice/rookie 5-man team called the "loose screws." one of the guy's dad owns the local field. i , and the team in general, am having serious problems. i ordered my 02 GZ a month ago and i dont have it. i am aslo still waiting for some other items. the team has big problems. i know im newer and younger than everyone else on the team, but mr oniel, the field owner and manager of the team, and ryan, the field owners son and captain of the team, both told me that if they could get enough people to enter 2 five-man teams to enter the mardi gras open, i would for sure be on the secondary team. i recently found out from some one else that they got 12 people that could go, and me and another new member of the team got cut from the tourney and if we go we will only be alternates. i am mad. and i know Grady, the other guy that is now only an alternate, will be too when he finds out. i have given one hundred and ten percent ever since i started playing paintball, and extra since i have made the team. i know im probably the worst player on the team, but i was told that i would be playing. one i either get in the rest of my equipment or cancel my order, get my money back, and buy online, if these guys dont get their act togther, im gonna get 4 guys, make an "outlaw paintball field" in what ever field and i find and get permission to use, and make my own frieking team. i joined a tourney team to practice, get good, and play in tourneys. these guys dont do drills or anything, for practice they just play games within the team.

Dont get to down....

Getting cut from that team sounds like a blessing in disguise:) ..If people promised you that you would play and then backed out on the deal, getting out now will only save you from headaches down the road as they dont seem like good teamates from your post....And it also seems your dedication and effort went unnoticed also..But ya know what??thats thier loss in the long run...Heres what ya do..

Grab five of your friends and start a team...Make sure you like hanging out with em and get along with em..And remember, they dont have to be the best paintballers known to man..Even Oliver Lang wasnt all that good once(if ya can believe that)..Practice as much as ya possibly can...Practice against better teams, drill whenever possible, and just keep on giving it your 110% and ill gaurentee that befotre long, you'll be tearing up your former team in no time...Good luck and leave the grudges at home...Theres more important things 4 u to worry about at the moment, like how pretty that Mardi Gras trophy will look in your houses next year..

Laters-6

P.S.-forget the local outlaw field...You wont be any good to your teamates with no eyes:rolleyes:

Good to see things are getting sorted, I changed teams a few months beck because I was not geting enough games that I would of liked (4 in 1year) and these were only rec aswell apart from one.

So I've joined a new team (Hellfish :D) and now I'm going to be playing 1tourny a month or more and pratice once a month aswell, so now I'm getting to play more ball and having a great time aswell since one of my old mates has also join the team so its helped with me already knowing one of the team.

So I'll say if things are not going how you like then, keep your eyes open and if you get any offers (Like I did) then think if you really wanna stay on the team you are with now and if the answer is no then join the other team.

But remeber always keep your doors open so that if things don't work out then you will always be able to play ball :)

Also about yourequitment, it is prob because of the x-mas post if the USA is anything like the UK's post near X-Mas so give it a few more weeks and then start ringing the place where you ordered from and cannecel your order and re order from a more local/better know shop in your area.
