Series 2K3 Notts - thanks from Lincoln Storm

Just wanted to thank everyone as Team Manager of Lincoln Storm for yesterday !

Firstly I want to thank my team - you all made me proud -everyone played hard all weekend - including training on Saturday. In 4 months you've come from a group of young recballers with no tournament experience to a tight knit team - your focus and determination to be the best is what will take you there !!!

A big thanks to Wayne, who has joined the squad from SPG Spirit, you've brought so much to the team and I look forward to playing alongside and winning alongside you in the future.

Thanks to Julian from Combat Zone for his continued support and to Pheonix and Powerball for kit and paint.

A huge thanks to Nexus - another day with you guys on Saturday - only reinforced our feelings that you are not only some of the nicest guys we've met - but also the most gifted players in the U.K - you deserve everything you achieve. Thanks to Ledz and to Jack for sorting my Orracle. We look forward to training with you all soon.

Thanks to Nick and all the guys at Skirmish for all your help.

Series 2K3 Notts - what a great event - well done Bully - we will definately be supporting you in 2004. Thanks to all the staff and particularly the marshalls who i know everyone thought were spot on.

Big thanks to all the teams - who played hard - don't think we had any easy games - all had to be worked for - but the spirit between the teams was great. Well done to Inferno - sorry we let ourselves down a bit in our first final - wish we had given you a better game - next time we'll step up !!! Well done Panic Attack - watched you play some blindiin' ball - I'd read about you guys having a great style of play - it's great to see that the style of play we are trying to adopt - will work - the K2 game was great to watch.

Also thanks to the Keltics - love playing you guys - you play in the very best spirit of the game.

As Captain of Lincoln Storm Black I'd like to echo Rich's sentiments here.

I've never been to a tournament before this one even as a spectator so I really had very little idea what to expect. Everything was great though, all the teams we played against were really friendly, I didn't notice any of the "attitude problems" I read about on the forums sometimes and people were really helpful when one of our boys needed to get a marker sorted (Sorry Chameleons for nearly losing your cocker).
Big thanks to anyone that exposed enough for me to shoot, it really helped our game

Thanks to the organisers and Marshalls, I dunno if it was better or worse than anything else because its the first I've been to but it was pretty good

And from Saturday, Massive thanks to Nicky T and Jack for spending so long on a lost cause (My Cocker)

Well Done!!!

Well done to Inferno - sorry we let ourselves down a bit in our first final - wish we had given you a better game - next time we'll step up !!!

There was no let down there boys you played a gr8 game, and it was a lot harder for us than you may believe. Most people we talked to after said it was one of the best final games they have seen at a 2k4 event for a long time.

We just felt that we played really solid, moved well, communicated and were in teams faces all day and just did'nt get out of 1st gear in the final !!!! But you're right - we are well proud of ourselves.

I know that these guys have got a great mix of experience and raw talent and will go from strength to strength over the coming years - playing and training alongside teams like Inferno, Storm and Nexus will only develop them that much better - you were down on Saturday and saw how hard the team trains - they are all totally focused on being up there !!!!

Great day for all you guys , I was privalidged to marshall all the games on field 3 inc the final,
you have a good squad that can only get better, but your player that really out stood everyone was the guy who played down the left in the zipper , fantastic to watch R/handed L/ handed.
so good at snap shooting i think he was the last man in on the final well done all the team . as for Inferno a great set of lads who take the sport to a high level of play , i remember playing these guys and they kicked our asses royal .

Steve, I must apologise for Boyley's lack of awarenes as to what year it is. Its been a big week for him, hes only just found out he can read as well
