Big big thanks to Steve Bull for bringing the Series 2002 up to 6E at Witton Castle and to the 47 teams who made it this far up the country!

Thank you also to :

Diablo and Steve for the fields

Oliver and John from Diablo for making up here and bringing the trade stand and paint

everyone at Witton Castle for helping and specifically for the BBQ on Saturday night

everyone who helped us set up (in some really bad weather! you thought it was cold on Sunday? - try that cold plus the gale force winds and torrential rain we had earlier in the week! A tad chilly on Sunday but it was dry and there was no wind - good weather considering!)

Trevor and Tim from H-Pac for the air

Russell and the ultimates who helped the self-marshal format go nice and smoothly

Tracey Paint and Stuart for the flags!

Alex from Kamikazees for the fan and generator that got the Big X up

the team from JAG for filming and Andrew for his stunning commentary on the games!

Ian for the photos

Darlington Scaffold for the tower!!

Liz and Steph for looking after the Chicks while I was running around liaising!

and everyone else who had anything to do with setting up and running of the tournament:)

Thank you!

...got to go take it all down now (in the rain)...!

Not a lot to add

Not a lot to add to Gillies posting, other than my thanks to Gillie, Andy and the 6E crew who helped set up the site.

The players. marshals, spectators, sponsors and service providers a big Thank You and see you all in Series 2003.

Incidentally for those who have posted about the cold weather remember it was dry!!!!, those who played Elsham a couple of years ago know what I mean - they played in freezing cold weather a gale force wind and snow (and that was not one event both two months running!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

:( That was bad weather.

Thank you all

Results will be on www.series2002.co.uk later today

Thanks a lot everyone for the tourney. The effort put in was huge, and I think it all paid off. The netting was good, and the fields were well done too. Can't wait to play there again next year. See you at the Diablo Cup.

A big thanks to all...The event was a huge success

Well done everyone, from the Carrots.

I also remember the SNOW, WIND and COLD last year. Playing into the stuff, and not being able to see ten feet in front of you.
Still we all enjoyed ourselves!!!

Cold on Sunday? You lot should have tried camping, and witnessed the temperatures at about 4AM both Saturday and Sunday mornings.

And on that note, just to add a quick thanks to Gillie for summat I haven't said anywhere else: cheers for looking after four cases of our paint on Saturday night, I have no idea what would have happened to them if they'd been kept in our tents
