Series 2003 important please read

OK so here is the choice for Nottingham

Option A

If we have 40 teams and divisions of 8 then we will have to use two woodland fields. This would mean at best you would play 2 games in the woods at worst you would play 4 games in the woods.

Option B
If we have 42 teams and divisions of 7 it is feasible to play all the event on three fields (two sup'air one hyperball) therefore no woodland

Before you say it I am not trying to cut cost, it does not bother me setting up woodland or sup'air fields. I have 25 marshals booked I could reduce this to 15 but I won't be doing as I will use all 25 marshals on the fields to "spell" marshals so that we can run continously.

The choice is the players, as the organiser and from the feedback I have from teams option B is prefered. The time scale is Tuesday evening for the decision. Incidentally one team from the confirmed list will have to go if I go for 40 teams - it will be the last to confirm ..................... I will let the team know personally and not on the web.

Cheers

Steve

We played last week at the site and found that the trees and woodland events weren't as good as the sup'air alone. Go for the sup'air, guy's. One thing though, the wind off the fields chills to the bone............
