Just so’s you guys and gals realise the implications of some stuff that we might at times put on these pages, below is a copy of an email I just received from Sergei today concerning what has happened here over the last few days :-

Dear Pete,
I am completely satisfied with the apology.
It’s a pity that the matter came up at all.
There seems to be an unfortunate, irrational interest that has developed in our team and if it hadn’t have been for your support, we would have felt ourselves driven into a corner where I seriously thought about boycotting the next tournament.
Once again Peter, thank you very much and I now look forward to seeing you in Amsterdam.

I’ll say no more than what a tragedy for the game of paintball it would have been had they decided to boycott Amsterdam or maybe even thought of throwing in the towel of fair play and joining the rest.

Well done Robbo for smoothing things over with Sergei. It would have been a shame for a team as exciting as RL to go missing from the Millennium series due to a row on the forums here.

It really says something positive about the team that real or implied accusations of cheating would make them consider withdrawing.

Back on subject though, I think the Russian Legion are great. They aint my favourite team but they seem to play decent ball and win fairly and often convincingly. I've never seen them kick off over a decision like most teams do or blatantly wipe, play on or pplay the grey matter to the limit. They set an example which we should all follow, their attitude rules.

Shame about the pj's though.

I couldn't stand another monologue of Nick telling me how good he was, over and over and over and over.................
