what would an impulse be like without the electronics, cos a site was selling a semi auto impulse really cheap

an impulse is a semi auto only electropneumatic paintball marker . so the site problably just has a good deal on an impulse . An impulse without the electronics would sorta be pointless.
would it still shoot, cos im kinda low on cash and could buy and slap in the electronics at a later date

the impulse uses the electronics to control the timing and cycling when the trigger is pulled! so without the electronics the gun wont cycle!

The Impulse is SEMI AUTO... there are no other modes available on the standard Impy... without the electronics the marker is totally useless... the chances are as rockon says that it is just a good deal on a standard Impulse.
you cant run an impy with no electonics. Thats what fires it and cocks it. The electronics control just about everything that is happening. With out the electronics nothin happens. If you were mechanically inclined im sure you could setup springs and stuff in the trigger to fire it but i dont think it will work.
sorry dude, just cant be done. the impy is totally controlled by one solenoid and all the electricky cr*p. without it you couldn't make it work (unless you can design a whole paintball gun's internals of course
