selling/shipping to the US

i'm thinking of trying to sell my gun over in the us where there seems to be a bit more of an x-mag market ..

anyone any idea of a rough cost to ship a marker to the us ? ...

do they have to pay (if caught) customs/import fees like we do ?

providing it goes, whats the best way to get payment ? ..

any more advice ? .... cheers people ..

cost would probably be in the region of £30, check at the post office.

you have to fill out a form for customs, but i dont think they have to pay anything

paypal is a good method for money transfers / recieving payment

also post by international signed for which means they have to sign on delivery like recorded delivery.

Means they carnt come back and say they didnt recieve it

the post office will ask you to fill a customs decalration when you ship outside the country.

Just ask the post office when you go to send

make sure the fools at the post office give you the right form as well, there is a different one for items over £250 i think

indeed there is Cn22 for £250 and less
Cn23 for over £250...and yes i got given the wrong one, tho thankfully my item (not a marker, but £350 worth of guitar fx) got there ok..

you can also send it by UPS 4 DAY EXPEDITED.They take care of all the paper work, it is insured and if you pay by credit card they will pick it up.
