Hi

I hate having to do this as I like to sort things myself usually but I am experiencing a bit of an issue with a seller, and a college of mine at Just Paintball told me the best bet was to talk to you guys.
I bought a blue ego 06 off a user (15/5/12) know as toby2413 for £155 including metal case and p+p. This is where I made a mistake. I paid by PayPal but did not pay fee's, stupidly I trusted the guy. He described the marker as needing the trigger setting but otherwise shoots fine no issues. Since iv had it, its been striped cleaned, settings reset to factory but still nothing. Iv finally had some proper advice on the issue and its looking like the solenoid has gone. Iv tried speaking to the seller but when he eventually replies all I got from him was a 'sorry your having problems', that was literally it! All I want is my money back, as clearly it is nothing like as described, he can have the marker and I will not be so stupid in the future but funnily enough since I have suggested this he is now ignoring my messages.
Is there anything at all can be done to help?

Thanks in advance
Rob

Your on your own then...

Best bet is to get in touch with his team if he has one, or go to your local police station and file a repor if the seller is unwilling to help.

Yea I thought as much. I f*****g hate diss-honesty and people who are diss-honest, they make me sick!
Not to be harsh, but on 150 quid the fees are going to be what, a fiver, six at the most? Only yourself to blame!* The warnings have been plastered all over the forums multiple times for exactly this reason.

*granted the seller has to be a bit of a dick to rip someone off.

Send me a link to the thread.

As Bon has said, paypal fees are there for YOUR protection in just such a case as this. If you don't pay the fees, there's basically feck all we can do about it.

I feel for you mate, bought an old sterling pump off a guy, it was only £50 and had, had some decent comms with the guy so didn't bother with the fees, since then he's disapeared along with my money............ Lesson learned!

Name and shame folks. We may not be able to reclaim everyones money all the time but at least we can ban these swine and put the word out to other forums as a warning.
