Honestly don't. You'd be much better saving up and getting an ion or a pmr.

Look around on the classified section, ion's are pretty much on there all the time for 100ish pounds and almost infinitley upgradeable and will most likely last you a long time.

^^^^have to agree, those sort of markers have no resale value at all,you would be better saving abit more to buy an ion or pmr,at least that way if you dont want to play it after a few months you can get a good chunk of you ££££ back plus if you decide to step up into tournys you wont have to upgrade as you will already have a tourny ready marker, but saying all this i depends on what you want it for really?tournys?woods?or just to have your own marker on punter days.

what type of paintball are you ideally looking to get into. woodsball or sup air?

makes a difference to what gat you get.

woodsball - get a tipmann or something - im no expert in this area so ask a woodsballer

sup air - something like the ion or the pmr are definatley great starter markers.

mate bought a mongoose as first marker, think he used it twice (just to shoot at targets for like 2 mins between marshalling) and it broke! Never got it working again.

He then went off and bought an ion with the rest of us and been fine for tournies, so def get a ion

Ion's a good recomendation, or a second hand E-Blade cocker or Angel 04 Speed, allot of gat for your money and not made from plastic spoons :D
Would avoid cheap "starter gun" blowbacks that really not allot better (and sometimes worse) than site markers.
If you are just going to play woodsball and don't want an Electro gat, would recomend a mech cocker or an Automag.
Just my 2p.

2nd hand Iron

We got an Iron for sale and it steams and everything... good for shirts and stuff...

But if you want an Ion :D you won't go wrong as a starter marker.... good for both woodsball and tourney play.....

Good idea would be to go along to a site and see if someone will let you have a go on their range with one.

If you really really on a budget than contact Shadlad on here who may be able to sort you out a Tippman and all the bits you'll need (possibly! ). Tippman good mech marker which won't let you down.. my better half got one!

If u want any advice on getting an Ion, although I don't consider myself an expert I hopefully would be able to impart enough of my knowledge to ensure you consider everything to start off with. Rem to quote your budget if u pm.

Best Regards,

Cus...
