Right guys and girls, I've got questions and I know that some of you geniuses out there have the answers!

1) What thread are the following screws?
a) Rear grip frame screw (that holds the frame onto the body)
b) The holes on the bottom of the grip frame, where you attach your drop/rail etc.

2) Has anyone used thread insterts to repair these before?

3) Does anyone know a place near sheffield that will repair the threads for me?

The holes on the bottom of the grip frame are 10/32 unf (3/16").

For the body, it depends on the marker. Angels will be 5mm.

1) they are:
a) 10-32
b) 10-32

2) Helicoils? Yep, they work fine.

3) No, I am not familiar with the Sheffield area. Most hardware stores around here carry everything you need, but the trip would be inconvenient for you, I think.

On a cocker the grip frame <-> body screws are 10-32 (same as the bottomline screws). Either Planet or Belsales would probably be able to fix it.

Don't despair, sometimes just buying a good quality screw will make it useable again. Cheap screws tend to be undersized and replacing them with a quality one will make a big difference.
