I've just aired up my Evil Scion after 2.5 years of being out of paintball and I've been "plugging the leaks" so to speak. My fill nipple was leaking but that's been sorted out with a bit of ptfe tape. One leak that's becoming persistant is from my outlet point where I attach my macro. I'd changed the macro fitting and redone the ptfe tape several times but it still leaks. It's not a big leak really, just an annoying one that seems to stop on it's own after a few seconds then comes back for a while, then disappears again and so on.
I'm not using a swivel fitting so do you think I've damaged my reg or could it be the ptfe tape I'm using? It sealed the fill nipple ok but the tape has been in my gearbag since 2004, before I 'quit' paintball, so could it be that? I can't afford to buy another tank anytime soon so any help on this matter will be appreciated.
