Hi Guys,

I am not new to the paintball scene, but I have only ever played tournament paintball.

I have been out of paintball though sadly for well over a year or so now, but plan to return on a casual level and enjoy the scenario scene. But this is where I get totally shafted and have no idea where to begin.

I need advice on what the leading markers are in this area of the sport including hoppers etc... I respect that there are huge differences between tournament and scenario which is exactly why I seek your advice. I am how ever looking for the more realistic looking markers if possible.

If anyone can help me this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe

If you can afford it the angel AR:K is a beast of a scenario marker although dosent look totally like the real. If your after something that looks the business I'd go with either the BT TM7/15 or the Tippmann X7 Phenom.

To be honest, you can use either tournie or scenario equipment nowadays. I'd say that about 50% of the guns and clothing used in scenario games are tournie equipment - so you can pretty much choose whatever best suits you and you'll not stick out in any way.

from what i gather because scenario pball is much much longer games, using a gun with a remoteline and stock in combination with a tac vest or simillar product lets you carry plenty of gas (bigger/more bottles) and paint to last out a game like this, as opposed to a tourney setup which is only made to last a matter of minutes. products like the apex or flatline barrels help with the generally longer range needed in scenario but i suppose it's still as debateable as ever if these products are worth the hassle since paint often wont break at long range.

definately not my speciality but in recent times the best scenario markers i've seen around are sp-1/g-1, angel ar:k, bob long m-tac.

personally i'd take the angel ar:k because its super efficient, has an awesome trigger on it and you can remove all the rails and stuff (personally i'm not bothered about scopes and such like). it can also shoot really fragile paint because of the awesome bolt design and comes stock with an apex ready barrel and a stock. plus it has an oled board which none of the other markers offer.
