I will buying a paintball gun today for my christmas present from some of my family. I have played paintball in the past so im not a complete n00b, but close enough I suppose. My price range caps around $300, including the neccesary gear (mask, tank, loader etc.). I could probably swing something if a much better gun and gear package were to be like $300-350, but it would need to be worth getting into **** over spending the extra money on my grandmas credit card (I'm 19 in case anyone's wondering). These are the guns I've been looking at/thinking of getting:

JT 5.0
Spyder E-99
Spyder Flash
Tippman Pro/Carb
XP Piranha Pro EXT-E

Thanks,
Perry

{forgot some stuff)

I think thats about it but you guys who know prolly get the idea from that list. Also, I just thought of something. My birthday is only about 20 days after christmas so if there is a gun and gear setup that would be about $450 to $500 at the absolute most, and its something I really really aught to buy because I plan on getting serious about paintball, then i could probably swing it. Let me emphasise though, it would need to be absolutely completely neccesary. If not then lets just concentrate on the guns and price range I listed above. Sorry if this seems too long winded, but i want to buy something I'm going to be happy with for while. Too many times have wanted to get into a hobby, and I've gone it on my own with buying the stiff to start, out only to find out I got the WRONG stuff. I plan on buying today so any help ASAP would be greatly appreciated.

If you are still reading, then thanks for taking time to help an enthusiastic n00b.

Thanks,
Perry

Have a look at the bushmaster BKO. Its an electronic non-blowback marker which will cost you about $280 new. Which will leave you plenty of cash for a new barrel, mask etc.
