So after four months of recruiting, training, drills, scrimmaging, encouragement and a lot of commitment, the first 7 of our SAD Academy took to the field for their debut competition.
The were entered into the new Breakin division, so how did this team of under 19s do.
They played all eight of the teams in their division in the prelims, winning 6 losing 2, this meant they went into the final play offs for first to third.
With each team posting 1 win, the places went to overall eliminations throughout the day, SAD Academy took 2nd place.
Man of the match awarded to David Clarke with 24 confirmed kills from the snake.
Thanks to all of the SAD family for supporting the development of these guys, thanks also to Twizz and GFH for their support and coaching, and to Just Paintball, Nottingham Skirmish and the CPPS for all their support.
I am now considering taking on three more youngsters so that we can build an Academy B team.
