Do you think they operate a McDonalds gold star reward system, you know:
Leran to shoot your angel left handed - 1 trouser star
Learn 'check him marshal' in English - 1 trouser star
Get your angel to shoot full auto - 3 trouser stars
Develop some sort of style and fashion sense - 100 trouser stars (but too much fashion sense to alllow them to wear the Co-Op cam any more)

Of course it was a tragedy, but thats exactly what makes it the target of jokes, to make it a bit easier to deal with.

Lighten up man, or should everything be taken seriously & those that claim that paintballers are training for war & should all be banned - you know that getting rid of cammo was just a clever ruse to get them off our back - do you think that should be believed too? From looking at the "uniforms" that the Legion wears, it;'s easy to see that they are home made affairs. Now, some of these guys work directly for Sergei, their team's captain, while others don't. The ones that work for Sergei have a little more time to spend on paintball, and therefore put more time into sowing stars on their trousers. The ones that don't work for him have a little less time, and so had to settle for a few stars less.

Or maybe the lady who makes their kit gets well plastered beforehand & sews some of the stars on the inside??
