Now that has got you looking!!!
Russell has only retired as the Ultimate marshal at the Series events. He has not retired from paintball so we will still have to suffer him.
I would like to personally and publically thank Russell for the years of help he has given to me helping marshal the Series tournaments, No battlepack and Triple Crown events plus many more. Russell has taken marshalling to a new level from the early days when he became the ultimate at my events. He will still continue to make the occasional appearance at the Series 2006 T van.
Next year Stuart Paint will be the Series 2006 ultimate and Russ has spent months training him in the art of stirring tea, putting sauce on bacon butties and not going on a playing field incase you get shot!!!
A very BIG THANK YOU for your help and good luck in future ventures.
I would like players to post their comments on this thread BUT it must start
“Do you remember when Russell …. “
So here is the first one
Do you remember when Russell played a woodland speedball event and played in brand new white trainers? He managed to play every game stood on the only patch of dry grass on the field keeping his trainers spotless. In one game he decided that it did not look good if I hung the flag (Now you know how long ago it was because I played in the guest team) so he shot me in the back. This meant he had to run (only joking) up the field pick up the flag out of the muddy puddle I had thrown it in, and hang it. He still managed to do this without getting his trainers muddy!!!
Please feel free to post and if the thread gets long enough I might finish this one
Do you remember when Russell got arrested on the way back from Belgium…….
Thanks again Russ
