I'm organizing and running a tourny for the first time and I know that I'm probably missing a few things here and there My main idea has been to copy the setup of good tournies I've played in. One of my current problems is that we only have one field to use and I'm worried the teams won' get to play many games if there's a big turnout. Do you guys have any suggestions on ways to fix this? Any advice on running a tourny would be appreciated. Thanks!

Consider splitting the teams in to a morning and an afternoon division. This will, at least, reduce the amount of waiting time between the games for each team.

I've run 96 rounds on one field in a day before, but you need an excellent judging crew to achieve this and still provide a good experience for your players.

Running a tourney

My advice to you, after running my tourney at TPC in Canary Wharf is to be very, very organised prior to the event and to get organised as far in advance as possible, my first tournaments were a challenge I relished.

Ballers will complain at any opportunity and don't forget that....I know I am one! So don't give them any reason to.

If you need help with organisaton you can contact me on 07971 510473

2 fields have just been enough for like 20/30 teams.. no teams like waiting ages for games and the next time the tourney come around it ends up to be a flop.. my suggestion whould be to buy 2 more sup' air fields and u sud get your money back
