This is pointed towards NPPL etc, Millenium, even the UK Series Co-ordinators.
In Pretty mush every sport across the globe, rules and regulations are amended annualy, and the onely reason to change those rules are on safety grounds only. Paintball seems to be an exception to this, in the fact that Series bosses seem to be able to change any rules they want, whenever they want. Clear examples of this are...
Dye Tops
Clear Hoppers
Team Colours
My point is, stop pissing the teams about, get your **** together, and drum out what you see as being wrong with the rules in a timely manner (preferably september time) so teams have the chance to purchase the correct equipment, and manufacturers have time to redesign their products to fall within these rules. It is NO GOOD WHATSOEVER for officials to outlaw a product after they have been sold to hundreds of teams just because somebody whines that they are illegal. Manufacturers should demand that officials release admendments of rules to them, as at this time, both look like a bunch of clowns.
Rant over, I'll get back under my rock.
