It appears our friends at Royal mail are now going to make it harder on us ballers to move some of our gear around the country :(

This is more relevant to those of you who buy and sell markers like there going out of fasion....

It appears Royal mail will no longer ship these markers by air as they now fall into there, land service only category.

This will cause people problems when say sending a marker to get fixed by Royal mail.

Was awaiting a marker coming to myself on next day delivery and it didn't turn up. Reason was apparent when I looked at the parcel...

If they are now going to stop markers being delivered by air what does this mean to those of you who play abroad and want to go on passenger aircraft with them? :(

where did it come from?

if it was like that when it arrived at your house then it is more likely to be to do with the sender if they are overseas?

doh just noticed british stamps on it...mmm dunno then...maybe someone should ask em?

Hey

Go with UPS. No point in having royal mail screw everything up. I mail like 1200 packages a year of all paintball gear (markers, tanks, anything) and never even one problem. Get an account. Its free, and just give yourself a fake Business name. Then you will have an account, where UPS sends you all free supplies to ship all your stuff. Then, if you know how much it weighs, you can print a label out, slap in on the package, and either have a UPS truck come to your house for pickup, or go to a UPS store, and drop it off. You will get a bill in the mail from UPS for the shipping charge, and voila! No more hassles. Got any more questions? E-mail me through my profile.

Some questions 'cause I'm confused:

How did they know it was a marker?

Why did it need to 'fly' anyway? was it not a UK destination?

I've sent my marker via the post and never had a problem.

I've bought and sold probably 20 markers and sent em all through Royal Mail special delivery and never had a problem :)

Most special delivery items fly up country, especially ones sent from down south to the north and vice versa.
