rounded off screws

I have just got a droid off the forums and it isnt working i am going to see if i can fix the leak but before i can even open up the frame i need to undo the screws but these have been rounded off ??

Any tips or ideas on how to undo these before i throw the thing in the bin !

get a center punch and drive the screws anticlockwise, has never failed.

It's used to mark a dot before you drill a hole. You can get them from most diy stores and engineers merchants.

The trick is to make a mark towards the edge of the screw and then lean the center punch over and drive the screw anticlockwise.

you can drill them out and then replace the bolt.

or if it's not countersunk you can take a jnr hacksaw make a cut about 1mm deep on the head and then use a flat head screwdriver

it sounds complicated but it's really easy to do, once the screw shifts you can use an allen key to remove it.

im going to get my trade back as there are alot of other issues with it but if it all goes tits up then i shall have to send this to a company to do as its not something i would feel confident in doing i dont think
