hi guys have a brand new liquid red rotor. play mostly with re balls which causes a few jams, problem is when it jams the anti jam trigger is useless because it seems to spin the shark fin round to where it would be when you pull the anti jam trigger? if anybody has a clue whats going on id appreciate any info? if i havnt explained it clearly enough let me know and ill try to word it better.

cheers

when it is functioning normally does the anti jam trigger work correctly? if so then it is just bad luck that the gear has turned but the fin has jammed in that position and you'll just have to give it a knock.

in the manual for the rotor it actually says not to use reballs as it causes jamming.

I had the same issue when feeding reballs through mine, alot of the problem is that if the reballs are old, worn or misshapen the more problems you will encounter with a Rotor when shooting reballs.

Sadly i experienced it rather hit and miss when feeding reballs through a Rotor also i found that tipping your gun/hopper upside down and pulling the anti-jam trigger worked best for me.

hi buddy

the anti jam (shark fin) stays back because the red rotor arm is spring loaded and has reached it's furthest position, it happens when using normal paintballs too but more often when using reballs because they aren't hard, there's no real solution unfortunatelly

adjusting the spring tention might help, it's the larger of the two allen screws on the back of the motor assembly, just back it out a few turns and it should be a little better, it's best to lower it a bit anyway unless you're shooting insane rates of fire

hope this helps

yeh i know its not for reballs haha i read the book too. tried using a dab of oil in the actual blades which helped a lot but i cant be arsed oiling it up every time i wanna use reballs. iv got an egg which has no trouble at all with reballs but just wanted to use my rotor, wasnt an issue with the hopper but with the anti jam trigger itself. that sounds like a plan ryan cheers bud will let you know how it goes
