Does the rotor give any signs that the batteries are runing down - have replaced them twice so far this season, but only because it felt like they'd been in forever, not because they had actually run out!

When it stops, change them.. I havnt changed mine since the beginning of the season.. New year new batteries, and its still going strong!... 2 tournies a month roughly...
i brought some of those lithium's from a well known battery maker and i haven't changed mine since i've had the rotor. i think thats nearly 2 years with training and tournies every month. so playing at least 3 times a month.

I changed mine a few weeks back . .. not cause it needed it, I was just assuming they would have to run out soon!!
Mine have been in for about a year now, I checked the pd with a multimeter last week, 4.3v. So that is a 0.2v drop over rated spec over a year.
Maybe I'll change them in 2020 .............................

best indication is it seems to be feeding slower if you physically watch the rotor spin
i have the paintball energy batteries in mine used them for a full year not even taken them out of the loader whenj finished playing
