Hi,
Right, I have a Eclipse Cocker, I love it to bits but it has way to much side to side play in its trigger for my liking
At one point this would stop it firing if the trigger was pressed completely to the left as it would then no longer break the beam on the board. A recent Planet Eclipse service has made it so that it fires every time but I still want to eliminate the play as much as I can. So here is my plan..
I came accross this link while surfing today and I want to do something similar to my original e-blade trigger. I reckon if I could get hold of a roller bearing with the correct internal diameter I could simply drill out the hole on my trigger to take said bearing, stud lock the new bearing in place then just loctite the existing pin into the frame. This would hopefully eliminate virtually all play as it appears that the problem at the moment is a poor fit between the frame and trigger pin
So, first off, can anyone see any obvious problems? Secondly (and most importantly) does anyone know where I can get just a roller bearing? Online seller would be ideal!
Cheers, Paul K
