just wandering if the new spyder Elctra trigers are actually legal (the rocking ones) as it is effectively having your marker on rebond mode is it not?

just to clear things up i meant tourney legal. and i would imagine they are not legal as if you imagine it being like a normal trigger it is similar to remound mode (one shot fired when the triger is pulled in then another fired when it is released) so in affect you are getting two per normal trigger. BUT then it isn't a normal trigger so i'm not sure hense, out of interest, i started the tread.

Taken from the XBall Tournament rule book
5.3.2. Players may use a single, 68-caliber paintball marker that consists of a single barrel and a single trigger. Double-action triggers are prohibited.
Taken from the Millennium rule book 11.01 Players may use a single .68 caliber paintball marker, which consists of a single barrel
and a single trigger system. Double-action triggers are prohibited. Markers will be
limited to 15 balls per second, defined as no two consecutive shots timed shorter than
65ms apart. Trigger activation may be stored for up to 100ms after trigger pull but must
be cancelled on the next trigger activation (this is to allow guns to shoot at 15bps in
semi-automatic mode). Ramping of shots will be allowed only once 8bps has been
achieved and then the marker may ramp to 15bps only if the 8bps is continually
maintained. Once the trigger is released only a single additional shot may be
discharged thereafter.
Taken from D7's rule book
6.01 Marker Specifications. Players may use a single, 68 caliber, pump or semi automatic paintball marker, which consists of a single barrel and single trigger. All Paintball Markers shall only operate in semi auto or pump mode and may not operate in other discharge modes such as burst, enhanced trigger or fully automatic discharge mode during play.
cant see any thing in the PA rulebook but then it's always best to ask the tournament organiser be for you turn up with a marker you arent allowed to use.

My disclaimer is that all rules can be changed between whats put in the rulebook and what happens at the tourney
