My "guesstimate": They will cause some upsets at the early tournaments, but they will not win them. Training is very important, but the real thing is always different. However, after a few tournaments they will start clicking, and may just become some serious contenders.
Just my opinion.

In my opinion Tigers are currently the UK team to beat, with Shockwave going through what can only be described as some serious internal restructuring. Unfortunately, Shock had taken it for granted that they were the best in the UK (they once were) and had sat back, this allowed the other teams to catch up fast. Ive seen some of Shockwaves training sessions and lets face it they werent exactly professional in their approach! Tigers have always been a leading force in UK paintball, and with a experienced and intelligent base they have been able to bring through some promising young talent. They have also helped create an image of fair but strong opposition.

This year i hope that Shockwave can pull themselves back, lets face it no matter what you think of them, they have always been a leading force in European paintball. They werent the one to beat for no reason! However, if any team wants to be at the top then training is the key, but only time will tell whether Nexxus can pull it off in the real deal!

In 2003 look out for Kelly's (again!!), K2 (if they continue to absorb the remains of Banzai) and of course Nexxus with their nippy piss artist of a forward player.....Jailbait!! This guy has the game, snap shooting Russian Legion and almost beating me in a 1on1 (bring it on Beeeyatch!!).

MMMmmmmmm, the crystal balls gone all cloudy now.......

Lol I have to agree with you boys and yes TJ I had the same conversation with the man him self;)

I also watched them in action at shoot the rain bow only s few weeks ago.

Kellys really are rocking I have never managed to watch K2 but I am going to try!

There is an awful lot of talent out there its just channeling it.

Shock have some really fine players too but I have never seen them or tygers play ditto they have both been reffing during our attempts.

I think this is going to be a really intresting year to watch unfold. Personnally I hope we see some more new teams and I don't think the players moving teams should nessarly be a bad thing. As long as they have gone to the teams that are right for them and for the right reasons.
Just my thoughts see ya in the middle boys;)

Before we spout off about who is the best lets see this years results in millenium and world rankings, Tigers are a good team and have had a good year by there own standards
Nexxus you cant even talk about yet as they need to put a few real tournaments with the milleniums and US before we can even start to judge, are Tigers going to World Cup or are they sitting back and watching how well they did this year HERMWITT

Time is the eller of all stories and you need to be there being knocked for quite a few years before you can consider anyone to be of greatness, after all it was 15 years man and boy

Mate is there a reason why you have such a downer on the Tigers. There are lots of reasons why we are not going to the cup mostly financial. That doesnt mean we are sitting about going wow didnt we do well more like we are training and playing. In fact we had trained or played every weekend since before Sweden. This is not the actions of a team revelling in their own glory! We are all too interested in being even better for next year.

Get off the soap box nobody is saying shockwave arent a good team just that they have had a tough year with lots of squad changes amongst other things. Anybody who knows the individuals in the team knows that they will be back to there old form if not better next year because thay have ambition and the drive to do it. As for Nexus well a bit early to say I agree with you on that front at least.

Peace
Boz

OOhh Boozza

Nothing against the Tigers at all, just a reply to the thread above about why Shockwave had done so poorly supposedly sat on there laurels whilst the rest took over

tigers have had a very good year I do agree, but some misinformed individuals saying that Shockwave have lost there edge other than losing key players is not on as you have so rightly stated in your reply

Read the thread above by Hermit before casting judgement on my thread, I was not aware whether Tigers were going to the World cup anyway just a thought as it is not your normal event
and it was a good point for Hermwitt to take into account

the answer will be next year when we all do the rounds again, I hope that Tigers can keep it up for a little while and give some competition as it has been lacking for quite a few years in the UK
