Peb, I think what Budhha may be implying may be wholly relevant for you and your pals, don't talk about me or my team in this house coz as I am seeing it ( I could be wrong here and I am open to any input) you and your silly little friends are just waiting for any chance to have little digs, little nibbles and like flies buzzing around my head, if it goes on for long enough, it becomes annoying and you know what happens to flies ?
I don't see closing a thread as being a bully, far from it; I closed it so there was no more cr@p that can escalate.
Peb, you ain't the sharpest knife in the draw, you ain't anywhere near experienced enough in this game to have a valid opinion on some of the things you have expressed a view on.
Ya know what Peb, if I open my mouth on here and begin to give my opinion on say, a ‘fusion v fission’ argument and their relative merits for energy production, I have some knowledge but certainly not enough to give any real credence to any opinion I might harbour.... As you, and others will certainly agree, I am entitled to my opinion but ... now you see there's my point
Now if I truly believed you and your little crew had no agenda, then I am gonna be no problem and as testament to this and others who may still be reading this post and at least have some interest in this pathetic thread, I will give you an example.
Dave YB and Bryon Bennini asked me to nominate some UK teams for sponsorship.
I gave him the names of the UK teams and the deals were done, yours was the first I gave him. In fact Steve will remember the phone call I made to him asking if he fancied being sponsored by Dye.
Some indefensible shi!t went down at Campaign which you guys were totally responsible for and for the sake of Phil Webb (not you), I won't catalogue the things you guys got up to there but trust me on this one, you push any more of my buttons and I WILL go public.
Anyways, even after all that cr@p, I sucked it up and went onto give you guys credit on these pages and yet, a couple of voices in your little crew were breaking promises that were made to me there.
I was receiving phone calls from time to time tellimg me about about what had been said.
After what some of you guys had done, you should have lost what had been given to you but I saw past that knee jerk and if it hadn't have been for Ledzy, you guys would have been named and shamed and lost the lot.
I went onto smooth things over, talk to you guys in Madrid to try and help out and go on to give you a huge amount of credit were you in fact to get into the pro ranks, I think it was Steve who acknowledged that credit, the point was, after what two of your guys had done, I still saw past that and did the mature thing .... I didn't have to do any of that especially after what had happened ... think about that Peb from my point of view for one second because most sponsors would have dropped you in a heartbeat for just one of those actions let alone all three.
Steve and Greg are cool guys, I have time for those two, I can talk to them ... but Peb, this problem isn't about them but they naturally get dragged into this (and understandably so) and as such, you will all get tarred with the same brush ... that is not my problem to deal with, it is yours.
Now I am gonna call Ledzy up, I trust that man's judgment 100% in matters like this, he knows the northern landscape far better than I and he knows how I think and react in these matters.
If he tells me you guys ain’t got an agenda, I trust his word implicitly, if he does then you will have no problem from me as I have already shown you.
If he acknowledges in any way that he feels things have been ‘going on’, then this situation is only gonna go one way if you persist in nibbling.
You bring up the point of me not being able to know what you either know or don’t know; this is wholly academic I’m afraid, Peb, you are young, you have an awful lot to learn and in this case, I know you might be a proud kid but you really are way out of your depth.
It’s not so much what I know about you, it’s what you write on here that will define you.
I have been to the US 55 times now, I have seen god knows how many pro games over there and since our points of difference focused in that area, I was a lot more qualified to have an opinion.
How many times you been over Peb? .. and please don’t tell me you have sat in Ledzy’s shop and watched DVD’s, it don’t cut any ice, this is the real world of paintball not a cyber world.
Some of your posts put forward opinions that were completely wrong and I wasn’t gonna stand by and watch that cr@p go unanswered; your posts also lack any real thought, clarity or insight.
You have said some pretty stupid things on here and I mean real stupid, but that’s your right, I’m cool with that but don’t try and tell me I’m being unreasonable or unconstitutional in correcting any of the points you raised.
Now as Bud says, keep a low profile when it comes to digging me or my team out and let’s hope Ledz gives me something to think about that I perhaps have not considered.
Now this is what I suggest if you don't want this blowing up, Steve has my phone number, he knows he (or Greg) can call me and we can talk responsibly.
If either deosn't call me and you (and others) continue to post on here with an agenda then things will escalate ....your call guys !
PS I am gonna close this thread too, not to be a bully but to make sure it doesn't escalate, and Peb, take Bud's advice here, don't go opening another thread just to have another pop at me or my team !!!!
