Absolutely stunned by the news last night. A couple different folks saying he went to the hospital with a headache and never came out. Either way, it's just a crushing loss for the paintball community world wide. He brought back the fire and enjoyment of Classic paintball with the ICC. He played on multiple championship teams over decades of playing, even though he was only 36.
Being a DLX sponsored team, and having a close relationship with GOG Europe, he was really close to a lot of our team members. He always had a kind word and the time to say hello when I'd see him. Which aligns with what others remember about him. Always smiling, having time to help others and helping to grow our sport. A consummate professional, and the sport has lost a great icon.
RIP #40.
