Not to bit*h about it but when I was at CC I went for a bit of a look see at all the new toys (specially the shiny ones), and I was knocked on my arse at some of the prices people were trying to charge. I'm not taking about the cost I'm taking the complete rip off prices just because it was CC. Let me give you some examples (without not mentioning any shop names)

Standard price CC Price
from two well know UK shops
1) JT barrel condom £5 or £6 £15
2) WDP Karnivor £899 £1050
3) Micro Line about £2.50 £6
4) Custom Products Pro Rail £12.50 £28.50

Did anyone else notice this or was it just the mathematician in me that said hang on a minute

Like I say I'm not going to mention stalls by name but lets just say it was the same stall that was selling the Karnivor for £1050

We were doing our CP stuff at the same price we have always done it (£12.50 cp rail), unfortunatelly our CP delivery arrived on the friday while we were at campaign and what we did have sold out quicker than expected

Well, if manufaturers undercut the prices that stores sell product at, they will make the stores angry. That's not good either. Anyway, it's always good to support your local store.

Most people buy stuff at events because it's basically the best "paintball store" they've ever been to, not necessarily because of good prices. That's because the local store may only carry certain brands or products, but they can go to an event and get anything. Problem is, they probably have to pay for it (unless it's Dye, who always have very good prices at events).
