Anyone know if the Richochet AK hopper is any good. Not the flashy lcd one - anyway its out of my price range and also looks a bit gimicky to me.
So far i have heard that it does produce bounce offs (thats good) but i have also heard it is noisy and breaks when it gets wet. Personally i believe it looks really nice, so don't bother raising that argument.
The reason why i'm asking is because i'm getting a black dragun for Christmas (my parents are so nice) and i need an electric hopper for it and i prefer the looks of the richochet to the revvy.
Finally, where can u get them in the UK. If not i've seen them for about $50 online.

hi,
we have one in our team, the mech itself feeds fretty well and we aint had any reliability probs with it (yet?) only prob we have had is that any hits to the bottom of the hopper that deflect result in a head shot! this has happened a few times so be ware!

I've found a good deal recently. The richochet 2K0 which is the 2k2 without the feedneck width problems (see warpig.com for areview). I just wanted to know if a few minor problems with the LCD are justifiable.
First i have been told the timer is really annoying with bleeps and its just plain fidly.
And i've also heard the shots fired is very innacurate. SpyderFlash guy (you've got to tell us ur real name cos calling u spyder flash all the time is getting irritating) as you have the LCD one maybe you can tell me abt that or anyone else can that has one.
One last point. Does the hopper agitate even when you aren't firing. i.e. for rec play will it always have a motor sound giving me away?

What happens is every time a ball is fired it agitates. There is a small flap of plastic in the feed neck and every time a ball passes over it , the hopper agitates. Thats how the ball counter works as well. The plastic flap also helps stopping balls from move up the feed neck as well. The buttons on the lcd are not that fiddly and the noise can be a little irksome, but its worth it for the good job the hopper does. Or just get the AK and you dont have to worry about it, as well as saving money :D
