Hi ladies and gents,
Have a problem with the rex dialer on an ebladed cocker, after high bps the dialer winds itself out slowly resulting in low fps through out the day , now i dont want to be sat in the field cranking up the fps with out a chrono, but it really is putting me at a disadvantage :(
Any ideas? anyone have the same problem?
Thanks
Squid.

not taken one appart for a while but if there is a nyloc insert in them...fairly sure there is...try getting hold of a new one of those (belsales or planet should be able to help there)....failing that as already mentioned id go for a couple of wraps of ptfe on the thread, there is no air running thru it so theres nothing nasty it can do if it comes away, wouldnt loctite it tho as every time you move it it will need redoing

Take the dialer out, and pull the small worm screw out. There should be a narrow spot at about the middle for an o-ring to prevent just this kind of thing. Most likely, it's shredded, and needs to be replaced.

Vantrepes is correct. If if it is worn, you can send it to us and we'll replace it for you, if it is not worn, try carefully taking the O ring off with a pic (or just rolling it out of the O ring groove. You can then carefully wind on a thin layer of ptfe in the groove to pack it out a bit and roll the O ring back onto it. If the Groove is a little deep then this should cure it ( May have happened if it is an old one  used to be my job to make them and I may have cut it a little deep  - Brian is much better now!)

Any problems get on to Brian at Belsales or me (matt@slothstuff.com)

Happy ballin'
