this may sound kinda vague, but my revvy just stopped. really, the whole story is i snapped the feed neck, fixed it with some tubing, broke the glue seal and in the process of fixing the tube back in the motor just packed up. worst of all it was the day before i played, so i was using a gravity feed hopper which ain't great. has anyone else suffered this fate? is the motor/sensor fixable?

Brass Eagle will sell you parts to your revy. Are you certain the motor is bad and not the sensor? It being the feed neck that broke I'd suspect the I/R LED/Phototransistor assembly first.

Yeah, the "eye" is the most likely culprit. Most reasonably equipped shops should sell you a replacement for about £6. It's possible that the circuit board got cracked at the same time as the feed neck - it's very thin where it wraps around the neck.

If you feel like going to Sparklie's next sunday, I can poke it with a multimeter and tell you for sure what's wrong with it, but I don't have any spare eye boards to hand if that is the problem.

In case you hadn't spotted, I've examined the electronics of revvies extensively, and it's a mess :)
