I've been away from the game for about 7 or 8 years, I left because the amount of cash it took to sustain my game crippled me. Now I'm looking into starting up for the occational walk on and I'm looking into getting a marker. Gone are the impulses, box shockers, intimidators and by the looks of it e-mags and whats left is a massive gap between high end £600 electro and the £100 entry level.

When I played, cockers had just gone from mech to e-frame and the Ego was coming into play. I loved my old cocker and I'm thinking about buying a second hand one to knock about with. My worry is what kind of support is out there for this old marker and are parts freely available. I've seen old Orracle's and Karni's go on here for £150 which is a steal. Would I be safe with this or should I bee looking at a cheap entry electro like the smart parts one. I'm not interested in tournaments now, so firing 20 balls per second isn't a priority.

I have a good marker background as I've owned mags, impulses, angels, a cocker (built myself), a shocker (box and slim dynasty version) and a timmy, but I've lost touch with the market.

Any advice is welcome.

I would consider old school high ends if they were cheap. But really I want to get back to a cocker, but not sure how much life is left in that marker, as it looks like the mag has died and gone away, so is there any point investing in a cocker if it has run its course too.

Your spot on Glassy, just want something reliable for the occasional walk-on. Do shocktech still produce these then, the sfl was around when I quit. I'm thinking of building my own, I really liked the eclipse cocker body, might be able to pick one up cheap.
