Erm, i'm sure they are illegal for tournaments, but the rules will be different for walkons, you need to check with the site owner.

A 98 really isn't a tournament marker, you should consider an electro before playing tournaments

just wondering in what way do you think that they are illegal

ur gun isnt made automatic by them it is still semi but the piston makes it faster.

therefore you would be using a semi auto gat when most others would be using ramping

I think they were made illegal on the grounds that the ROF couldn't be capped (you can sweet spot the trigger and make other modifications to enable you to shoot more than 15bps) There was a tippy 98 on youtube that someone had fiddled with to shoot some ridiculous ROF (>30bps i think)
