Replacing EGO QEV

had a snapped one ..when replacing do you loctite them in ?

yeh and anyone invent something usefull for taking off low pressure hosing (from barbs)

stick a wee bit of lock and seal on it to stop small leakages (same with cocker qevs).

as for the LPR hosing just pull it off mate or pinch it with smooth pliers.

Wouldn't even attempt to reuse the lpr hose after you take it off to be honest. More trouble than its worth. Just snip/cut the hosing off the barb and replace it with a new bit

pliers are good to take off the hose, you can reuse the hose, but if you have more i suggest using new hose

yeh will be using new hose ..how do you go about stripping a QEV it isnt in the manual i dont think (i cant find it)

rosie, that bit is called the top board, if that helps.

as for the qev, im sure you just ease out the exhaust(bit with hole) and clean diaphram. then replace

nice one rosie .if its the top board from a humphrey noid it will have two prongs sticking out of the PCB

ROB ease out ? nothing will budge, do i apply heat,violence....harsh language
