Removing Swivel Collar Ego 08

i think you might have to remove the 90 degree elbow first , i might be talking complete sxxt but , im sure thats what i did to get mine off .

That is correct, you have to remove the 90 degree elbow to get the collar off.

Mate they have a slight tappered thread thus the more they go in the tighter the seal , you will need to a decent spanner or adjustable and give it abit of force anti clockwise ..

it will budge , its probably thread locked ..

they are loctited in place, you may find it easier if you heat the elbow up a little to break the seal....a hairdryer will do it, get it good and hot but be carful you dont burn yourself!

once the elbow is off then the collar will pull off the reg bottom.

It's been replaced because it was one of the faulty ones if thats what's worrying you?
