removing ram?

can you tell me how i would remove the ram from my cocker? it seems tight, i'm not sure if i should be twisting harder or using a flame (in case there's locktite)

sorry i think my wording was bad.. i actually meant removing the ram from the pump arm

will be loctited in...probably with strong stuff..so yes you might need to heat it up.

heat the bad bwoy up till it starts to smoke(loctite burning), then twist it off

yup best way is to warm it up and then get on it with a couple of pairs of plyers....but becareful not to bend anything

Would that smoke be the loctite, or the o-rings melting?

thanks, i was heating up only the tip. i ended up heating about half of the entire end and it came out much easier

i have qev's i want to install as well, but they seem really hard to get on, any suggestions about that?

some rams you cant fit them to...have you unscrewed the barbs from the ram?
