Removing BM reg from cocker..

Is the marker threaded this way or did my regulator come off in two pieces?
If the latter is the case, how do I get it off?

I had this problem with my cocker, i took the reg off but the top piece was still in the vertical adaptor, it had been loc-tited so had to get my mate to get a pair of mole grips on it.

screw the reg back together.

then heat up the base of the FRM all the way round with a flame from either your cooker or a brulee torch

that should help, also remember to wear a glove to protect your hand, or tea towel as it will be a bit warm!!

common with br regs, u can either use a strap wrench to get it off, or screw in the reg and try removing it again properly

Don`t have a strapwrench and there isn`t much to grip on so I guess I have to put it under a flame..

you might get away with using a hairdryer to heat it up (haven't seen you pic tho) safer than a blowlamp

BM regs have a gauge port use the correct allen wrench in the grub screw thats in the hole & use that for the extra leverage needed Fire & Orings arent a good mix

i dont like advising this, but, loctite the reg back together and wait till it hardens, then the top bit should come off when un screwed.

it is easier to clamp the top bit of the reg than the bit u got stuck.

make sure u use blue or green loctite, and do not loctite the reg to the gun after u do this
