remote line thread size

I recently bought a slide check off flea bay and it seems that the female thread size on the slide check is considerable smaller than the male remote hose thread size which is 1/8bsp.

is there anybody who can tell me if 1/8th bsp is a standard thread on remote lines or is there other sizes used before i return the item ?

they are normally 1/8 or 1/4 npt or bsp. how much smaller is the thread

I'd say nearly half the size of the remotes thread but there's about 1 cm blank shaft before the thread begins on the slide check which the remotes end will slot into.

meh, I sent the bugger back as it would be a costly slide check after all the additional fitments.

i tried to get some info about the threads form the seller, but no luck.
