Reloader B Mic.....

for a project i may have to extend the mic away from the board of the hopper, is this possible?
cause at the moment its wired into the bored and i dont want to risk damaging it by taking the mic off....
im sure if you do take it off there will be two connectors which you can wire but i want to know for sure so any help will be appreciated
