ok ive never seen anyone answer anything like this before so here we go.

ok ive got a nitro duck extreme adjustable bottle reg (0-1200 psi)

And a cp reg on my shocker.

the operating pressure of a shocker is 170-200 psi

what regulator settings will give the best consistancy.

i.e 200 from the bottle and 200 from the cp reg, or 500 from the bottle.

i dont think shootdown is an issue as ive had the bottle running as low as 300 in the past.

Ideally, you want double going into the inline reg, as you have going out of it...this would be around 400-450 psi for you.

Sweetspot your inline to the gun...this means getting the lowest ft per second variation you can..using the dwell and inline...then set your velocity to where you want it...so you use miniumum air, to get the gun doing what you want, fully functional...then sweetspot your main reg in your tank...basiclay adjust the output up or down untill you get the smallest ft per second variation..ideally none...bit extreme to do it with the main reg, but you can if you wish.

Get the gun shooting fine...
Thenlower the dwell till it stops shooting fine/consistent...then up it a touch.
Then lower teh inline pressure, till it stops shooting consistent etc...then bump that a bit too..
Should end up with lowest dwell and working pressure...dont forget, taht as grease on bolt moves around and thins out etc...it might stop working if teh dwell is too low..
