I was wondering if, the difference between, HP and LP is based on the bottle or the reg? i.e I have a pure energy 1.1L, and is said to be LP, but I was wondering if I buy a HP reg, is the bottle universal? and is there a remarkable difference between LP and HP?

Bottle is universal, its just the springs in the reg that are different.

your bottle will be either 3000psi or 4500psi, its the reg that will make it HP or LP.

as for which one is better, i think it would depend on which gat you using.

The difference between them is the reg not the bottle. A LP reg has a preset output of about 450 psi and a hp reg is about 850psi. the bottle thread is universal so they are interchangeable.

And it depends what marker your using to whether or not you will notice a difference. some are designed for a lp input some need a hp input
