you can quite safely put a co2 valve in a 3000psi bottle and use it for storing co2.....but if you put a co2 valve in it then fill it with air....first of all the fill rig will need to be custom made and secondly it will more than likely explode! co2 valves are made to deal with co2 pressure.....prob no more than 1200 psi putting 3000 psi behind it would be VERY bad....in a kind of big way

right that seems to be clear!
so 3000psi Valve with CO2 in bottle is ok. Vice versa is not ok.
but if stick 3000psi air into your gun that has a Max Flow Co2 reg which shows a dial of 0-300psi, is that ok.
No, right?

Can i make it a bit clearer?

You can get a 3000psi air bottle and attach a co2 valve to it.
This will let you use it just like a regular co2 bottle.

DO NOT put air in a CO2 bottle.

DO NOT put air in an air bottle with a co2 valve on it.

DO NOT put co2 in an air bottle with an air reg on it.

You CAN put an air system on a gun designed for co2. The air reg will regulate the pressure down to what you want. (800 psi)
