Reg's and Markers

Ive got an ion, with a dye throttle air bottle.
The bottle has the standard reg on it, but do i need to buy anything else to connect the bottle to the marker? like O-Rings etc?

yup, an on/off, rail and macroline, orings would be good (everyone has bottle ones) and hunones would be good as spares

Edit: the throttle is a screw in isnt it?

yeah it is... do you have to have an on/off etc? is it a necessity?

do you have a bottom line assembly on the gun already? if it has the but to screw the bottle into and some hosing going into the gun, then you're away. just stick a hopper on top and youre good to go

o-rings are cheap and you'll go through quite a few, either go to your local site (99%sure they'll have them-especially if there a "punter" site) and the bottle wont work without one.

if that fails, local plumbers all the way

AHHH yeh ive got the bottom stuff... but when i screwed my bottle in no air was getting into the gun... is it because i wasnt using an O ring?

you should be able to see the oring, its just near the end of the bottle, have you adjusted the reg?

Edit: youll know if the oring is broken because itll start pissing out air

if the o rin was missing imgues you have blasting back when you screwed the bottle in.

gas bottle o rings are usually white in colour as they are more 'heavy duty'

the bottle was second hand and didnt come with an o ring on it.... ill need one of those to make it work i gues then

and yes it does piss out with air sometimes lol
