The 2006 Season is getting ready to kick-off at Settlers Park in Round Rock, TX February 16th-19th. Registration for the first event of the season will open on January 17th on the PSP website at www.pspevents.com and run until February 3rd at 11:59 pm EST.
Please remember that event registration is a two part process. You must both register and pay for your team in order to ensure a spot in the event. Only paid teams will be admitted into the event.
New for the 2006 Season, teams will be able to pay for the entire season starting as of January 17th. This will guarantee teams a spot at all six of the PSP events including the largest event in the world, the World Cup.
Due to the new round-robin format in Xball for the 2006 Season, registration for the Texas Open and the remaining events for the rest of the year will have the following changes:
•The first twenty teams to register and pay in each D2 and D3 Xball will have guaranteed spots in the event.
•After the first twenty spots in each division are filled teams will be confirmed for the event in groups of 5 per division.
•Those teams that are not confirmed for the event will have their money refunded.
•A total of 60 teams in D2 and D3 Xball combined will be confirmed for the event.
•Also, the classifications known as D2 and D3 5-man during the 2005 season have been changed to D3 and D4 5-man Xball for the 2006 season.
Also please keep in mind that as the event gets closer, registration fees will increase. Xball entry fees will increase $100 on both January 24th and the 31st. 5-man Xball and Young Guns entry fees will increase $50 on both those dates.
